Current Issue
Vol. 8 No. 2 (2025): Transforming Education: Digital Integration, Strategic Assessment, and Sustainable Management
Issue Overview:
This issue underscores the transformative role of digital technology and interdisciplinary approaches in language education. Research highlights how artificial intelligence and web-based strategies are enhancing learner autonomy and personalization in Arabic instruction, while learning management systems like Moodle and Google Classroom are improving accessibility and structure in digital learning environments. Furthermore, systematic reviews confirm that innovative pedagogical strategies significantly boost Arabic speaking skills by fostering active communication. Expanding the scope of language learning, findings also demonstrate that integrating climate action concepts into English for Computer Science through Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) effectively develops both linguistic competence and environmental awareness. A significant evolution in pedagogical and assessment practices is also evident in this edition. In the context of English as a Foreign Language, there is a marked transition toward Learning-Oriented Assessment (LOA), shifting the focus from summative testing to formative and diagnostic evaluation within the Kurikulum Merdeka framework. Simultaneously, in elementary science education, the integration of deep learning principles with gamified digital platforms has been shown to create a joyful learning atmosphere that drastically increases student engagement and mastery learning rates.
Finally, the issue addresses the crucial psychological and managerial foundations of educational success. Analysis reveals that internal factors, such as self-efficacy and learning styles, serve as dominant predictors of positive learning experiences for university students in science programs. At the institutional level, particularly within Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), structured planning and effective organizational management are identified as vital determinants in optimizing the quality and effectiveness of traditional Kitab Kuning instruction.
