The Application of Religious Culture Among Students at MAN 1 Bangka Barat

The shift in the character and morals of students due to globalization, which has led to cases of juvenile delinquency such as theft, gang violence, child abuse, maltreatment, and sexual abuse, has become a particular concern, especially in educational settings. MAN 1 Bangka Barat has adopted the implementation of religious culture as a solution to this problem. The implementation of religious culture involves the entire school community in order to make the school environment an intellectual and morally upright one. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of religious culture at MAN 1 Bangka Barat and to determine the school's strategy in implementing religious culture at MAN 1 Bangka Barat.
This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type that describes the results and data obtained regarding the implementation of religious culture among students at MAN 1 Bangka Barat. The research subjects are the principal, vice principal, 3 educators, and 4 students. The data sources obtained are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in the study were data reduction, data presentation, and verification (drawing conclusions).
The results of the study indicate that the implementation of religious culture at MAN 1 Bangka Barat is routinely applied in various forms of activities such as smiling, greeting and saying hello, reading the Qur'an, performing the dhuha prayer, performing the dzuhur prayer in congregation, and istighasah or praying together. The strategy for implementing religious culture is carried out through power strategy, persuasive strategy, and normative re-educative strategy
