Abstract

Educational institutions are organizations or agencies, both public and private, that conduct educational activities and thus operate in the field of education. In Indonesia, there are many educational institutions with varying objectives, curricula, and graduates. The purpose of this study is to describe patterns of bullying behavior and how MTSN 1 Bangka Tengah addresses bullying. This study reveals various patterns and forms of bullying, including physical bullying, verbal bullying such as mocking students with physical disabilities, insulting parents with derogatory nicknames, cyberbullying, and insulting other students via social media. Triggering factors for bullying include family factors such as a lack of attention, school factors such as low supervision, poor environmental factors, peer factors that encourage bullying, and uncontrolled social media factors. The steps taken by the madrasah to address bullying behavior include forming an anti-bullying team, providing a complaint box, implementing reward and punishment strategies, and providing education on the dangers of bullying.
