Implementation of the Quiz Team Learning Method in Islamic Education Subjects for Grade VII at SMPN 1 Puding Besar

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Quiz Team learning method in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject for Grade VII students at SMPN 1 Puding Besar and to examine its effect on students' engagement and learning outcomes. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Quiz Team method enhances students' activeness in group discussions, strengthens their understanding of the material, and fosters a healthy competitive spirit among students. Teachers serve as facilitators who guide the interactive learning process. Although there were some obstacles such as time limitations and varying student abilities, the method was generally effective in creating a fun and productive classroom environment in PAI learning.
